What is the definition of success

In a world which is solely motivated by money , can success be only be measured with money? Is it only about the perfect pay package, the perfect position, the perfect house, the perfect car? Or are there some more parameters that measure success?
Shouldn't success be also linked to good education, good cultural values, the right blend in life- personal or professional. But then how do we define good education or good cultural values. Today even education is largely linked to the future prospects of minting money. So an MBA from IIM Ahmadabad is good but a MA from Ahmadabad university is not good enough. Definition of good values too is linked to good money. How often than not, we have been introduced to people from extremely rich families as belonging to " extremely good families" Very often, am sure.
So how do we measure success? Do we raise our own bars and try to achieve them. If yes then wouldn't we be a failures from the perspective of the world? And don't we all at the end of the day want to seem successful from the worlds point of view. Do we have the courage to face the world as social failures but still carry the confidence of having achieved personal successes?

Nice attempt to start blogging. Pl keep it up and try to blog regularly. As regards success, its completly subjective as we all have different yardsticks and creteria to judge what success is. We all live in our own world so no one can give judgment. However, our society has its own elavuation system about success. Wealth and prosperity have important role in this respect.
